Our landscape has changed since we chose Brightree, now MatrixCare, in 2018. We approached the interoperability of the system as an opportunity to adapt and become more efficient. We soon realized that the interoperability of this platform would change our workforce, our process and our staffing needs… It has - we have become more efficient, with increased staff morale. As MatrixCare evolves to meet the changing landscape, we are excited to embrace the innovative technological advancements and interoperability that continues to improve our work practices that improved our fiscal status and our staffing. MatrixCare has become a part of our recruitment tool, as we soon realized it offered our clinicians a sense of empowerment and ease of workflow.

Then the pandemic hit our state, we watched it role in like a hurricane on a horizon, we began to make plans again to change our workflow process and system to ensure we maximize the interoperability and remote capabilities of MatrixCare. We were able to ensure staff safety through a complete separation of clinical teams. We were concerned our process would be jeopardized with the pandemic and changes in face to face interactions. We found quite the opposite with MatrixCare. We have had increased opportunities to improve our systems, push our staff to more remote care to reduce their interactions, and are now functioning as an IDT team more than ever. MatrixCare has given us a strong foundation for rebuilding our team.

We have continued to work with MatrixCare on exciting opportunities that enhance the clinical process and patient care and experience, while ensuring we have a firm grip and understanding on PDGM and soon the no pay rap. Many other agencies are scrambling to figure how to manage posting the SOC notice within 5 days. MatrixCare has prepared us and responded to the challenges, once again rapidly increasing our interoperability, and enhancing systems, process and reporting to ensure we are 100% complaint.
